Journey Of The Arclight Transit

Back in 2005 or so, I was working for Adiken Games. I rewrote the rules for Nin-Gonost and provided all of their fiction, which was an attempt to make the world un-generic, considering all of their minis were things like orcs and goblins.

Before the company went under, I developed a future sci-fi lore for a game that never happened. The Journey Of The Arclight Transit.

That lore and concept is now being used to create a new, episodic, story driven worker placement game. Well. At least that’s what the game will start as. Obtain resources, build new things to let you get more resources type game. As you complete a scenario, whatever you built/discovered becomes available in later scenarios. The game works Saga style (like legacy, but without the destruction) where you would buy each next segment of scenarios as you unlocked it, essentially surviving on a h0stile planet after your ship, The Arclight Transit has crashed.

Your “workers” are The Trilobytes, robotic servants you assign to different tasks. You will need to be able to build more while keeping organics like your self alive, until you reach a point of stability, allowing you to move to the next scenario, having unlocked how to craft whatever system the current scenario dictated. Scenarios are non-linear. You choose which challenge you would like to complete.
